A meeting has been called on January 9 by Councilor’s Chief Executive Officer cum DDC Vinod Duhan regarding the no-confidence motion by 17 councilors against Gaya District Council President Naina Kumari and Vice President Dr. Sheetal Prasad Yadav. This information was given by Chief Executive Officer Vinod Duhan. He told that the no-confidence motion will be discussed in the meeting. If necessary, voting can be conducted.

Let us tell you that a memorandum was given to the Chief Clerk of the District Council on January 1 by 17 councilors demanding a meeting to bring a no-confidence motion against the District Council President and Vice President. On this demand of these councilors, the date of meeting has been fixed on January 9 by the Chief Executive Officer of the councilors. Please note that the total number of members in the Zilla Parishad is 46.
Political activity will remain intense in the entire district for six days
At present, under the provision for President Naina Kumari and Vice President Dr Sheetal Prasad Yadav to save their chair, it is mandatory to be more than half of the total number by one. In such a situation, support of at least 24 councilors will be required in Gaya District Council.
